"Who is this strange person?" you ask. Well, dear reader, I am James Thewlis, a geek guy who is currently 18 years old and was born on May 26th 1990. I am Spelsh. Or maybe Walish - I am Welsh but I have lived in Alicante, Spain since the age of five.

I like and use Linux, my preferred distribution is Ubuntu. It is easy to install and use, but still very powerful, stable and free. They even send you free CDs! Mmmm open source coasters.

I know HTML and CSS (by which I mean I can actually create a decent website, not just "pimp out my myspace" with an ungodly mix of clashing colours and scrolling, blinking Comic Sans.) I also have a scant knowledge of languages such as C++, Java, PHP and MySQL. That is, I have books on them, some of which I have read, but I have never really made anything worthwhile and probably wouldn't be able to do anything too complicated.

Despite being a geek, I do in fact have a girlfriend. This is in blatant violation of the first law of Nerdodynamics, which states that "for a male member of the human species, usage of Linux is inversely proportional to said male's success in love." My illegal girlfriend is a certain Cat Chapman. She is a sexy geek girl and probably the only person reading this. She is also the one providing hosting for this site. Thanks Cat!
